Create a category in wordpress

To have your blog has a good structure and easy navigation for visitors to browse postings and blog page, you must categorize your posts. To create a new category, go to the dashboard / WordPress admin panel and enter the menu Post> Categories.

Change Category posts

To move posts from one category to another, just click Edit on the menu Post, pass the mouse over the post that you want to change and click Edit.

 

 

 

 

From the Categories section select a new category (in this example test line category) and click Update Post to save the changes made​​.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Deleting Categories

Important Note: delete the category does not delete the posts in that category. This will only restore settings to their original categories, namely Uncategorized.
